The Design was executed in co-operation with Satoshi Okada Architects, Tokyo. The main Concept Design’s aim is to minimize space disharmony and to remain coherence with neighbourhood . That is why the new building is situated on underground levels, the only visible part is main entrance lobby, which roof is covered with grass. A main exhibition space is located on level -1, where 3 glass bridges are designed to expose photography. Multifunctional space and café are situated on -2. Level -3 holds technical area. Illumination of the area is provided by roof skylights .
